Dr. Ghassan Hamid

Ghassan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1998, later working in many countries as a general dentist. In 2005 Ghassan completed his Post Graduate Diploma in General Dentistry (with a focus on endodontics and prosthodontics) from the University of Otago. Ghassan then went on to teach at the University of Otago for 7 years.
Previously working for Milford Family Dental, Ghassan returns from Melbourne where he taught and examined third and final year dental students at the University of Melbourne. He was also an examiner at the Australian Dental Council for overseas-trained dentists.
His passion is in providing high-quality dental care for his patients. He enjoys all areas of dentistry, with special interests in root canal treatment, cosmetics dentistry, crown and bridge and implant dentistry.
Ghassan regularly attends lectures and courses locally and internationally to stay at the forefront of dentistry. He is also a member of The New Zealand Society of Endodontics. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his wife and two kids.
Dr. Kav Naidoo
Kavendra (known commonly as ‘Kav’) graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and later went on to complete his Bachelor Of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Auckland University.
He is an enthusiastic dentist who is capable in all aspects of dentistry with a recently acquired interest in dental implants and orthodontics. His manner with patients is very courteous, friendly and he prides himself on excellent post-visit and after-hours dental care.
Kav is widely travelled and is able to relate to people from many walks of life. He is married and has a particular sporting interest in cricket. In his spare time Kav enjoys keeping fit through regular gym routines and is very much a family guy.
Dr Kelly Jung
Dr Kelly Jung came to New Zealand in 1994 from South Korea and grew up in Wellington. She graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery more than 10 years ago. She began her career working in Wellington and Auckland Hospitals for the District Health Board where she was working together with many highly qualified specialists and medically compromised patients. She also completed her primary examinations with Royal Australian College of Dental surgeons.
She then worked full time for a few years in private practice in East Auckland before she relocated to North Shore City. Kelly is married to her wonderful husband Lloyd and they have two delightful children together. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and is dedicated to providing a high quality service and excellent aesthetic solutions for her patients. Kelly is a member of the New Zealand Dental Association, as well as New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry Association. She understands that a visit to the dentist can be nerve-wracking for many, but through reassurance and listening to her patients concerns, she creates a relaxed environment to ensure each and every patient has a positive experience.
Christina graduated from Otago University in 2003 and spent her early years working in Dunedin hospital, in private practice and also as a clinical tutor at the Otago dental school. Christina then spent the next 12 years in Queensland, Australia, working as a general dentist in a busy dental practice.
Christina has a wide range of expertise all in areas of dentistry including restorative, cosmetic, surgical and endodontic treatments. Christina is also a registered Invisalign provider and has a passion for providing clear retainer orthodontic treatments. Christina proactively stays up-to-date with the latest advances in dental technology and has a special interest in CAD/CAM (computer-aided manufacturing) allowing her to provide digital scanning and one-visit crowns.
Christina enjoys building up relationships were her patients and seeing an improvement in their oral health and their smiles in the long term.
In her leisure time, Christina likes to hike in various areas throughout Auckland, play piano and maintain her fitness at the gym and through pilates.
Originating from Canada, Kendra has been our full time Dental Hygienist for the past 8 years. She completed a 4 year degree in Dental Hygiene Specialization in Edmonton Canada in 2006 and has over 10 years experience. She is experienced in treating all forms of Periodontal disease and with her caring, gentle touch she helps puts patients at ease. In her spare time she enjoys doing Yoga and going to the gym, catching up with friends and family and is also well traveled.
